FORGET Stevenage who are quoted at 5000-1 to win the FA Cup, it is Bury who are the no-hopers in this season's competition.

But before anyone leaps to the Shakers' defence and angrily phones the Bury Times sports desk, that isn't a local assessment of the situation.

The real culprits are the Daily Telegraph and bookmakers William Hill for the two got together on Monday to reveal the latest FA Cup odds . . . and somehow forgot that Bury were still in the competition despite that 1-1 draw at Bramall Lane.

Opponents Sheffield United were quoted at 100-1, alongside Manchester City, Stockport County and Wolves, but despite a fine-tooth comb search of the Telegraph Sport article, Bury are the forgotten men of the competition.

But if you do fancy a flutter in advance of next Tuesday's replay at Gigg Lane, then the London office of William Hill has confirmed the Shakers are quoted at 150-1.
