I WAS appalled to read so much criticism of the staff on Ward 5 at Blackburn Infirmary (LET, December 27).
I was admitted there for major surgery last June and the care and attention I received from the consultants, sister and every one of the nurses was superb.
God bless the team of Ward 5 and may they continue to attend future patients with the care and respect given to me.
