IDEAS are invited on where to plant trees as part of Preston Council's woodlands project.
Funding has totted up thanks to efforts from the council and staff, UNISON and a mayoral donation, and the first site to receive the green treatment was on Preston Crematorium late last year.
Now suggestions are needed for sites in Greyfriars, Sherwood, Deepdale, Ashton, Central Preston, St Matthews, Sharoe Green and Larches wards
The planting will take place from March to November this year, and it is hoped all projects will be finished by the Millennium.
