SOME 27 teams will challenge for the Atherton Charity Cup this season.
The competition kicks off early next month with five teams already through to Round 2 on a bye.
The lucky handful in the draw made at Alder House were Daten, Leigh Phoenix A, Leigh Phoenix C, Pemberton and Pennington.
Full first round draw: Atherton S & S v Atherton Town, Little Hulton v Hindsford A, Hindsford B v Tyldesley United, Tyldesley Unit 7 v Leigh Phoenix B, Leigh Athletic Reserves v Church Inn, Atherton Town B v Breightmet United, Atherton Colls Veterans v Atherton C&N, Daisy Hill v Howe Bridge Mills, Atherton Colls v Hindley Town, Three Crowns v Westleigh Mechanics, Lion Inn LMP v Lodge Bank.
EX-SOCCER players with Bowling Green Inn are holding a reunion in Leigh's Bridgewater Arms on February 19. The team, managed by John Valentine, was formed in 1977 and folded in 1990.
