THE Blackburn, Hyndburn and Ribble Valley branch of the National Asthma Campaign thank everyone who provided stock or helped in any way with the Charity Shop in Lord Street West, Blackburn, at the end of January.
We raised the wonderful amount of £763.41 during the week; not bad, considering it was only a few weeks after Christmas!
The next meeting of the branch will be on Tuesday, at 7.30pm in the Function Room, The Manxman Hotel, Manxman Road, Blackburn, not the Lecture Theatre at Blackburn Infirmary where most of our meetings are usually held.
There will be no speakers as this is a social/fun night to discuss the branch; its groups and fund-raising for 1998.
