SNOOKER'S new UK Tour is to be sponsored by Padiham firm E J Riley.
The competition has been devised for players outside the top 64 world rankings.
Five events will be staged over the course of the season with the best 70 players qualifying for snooker's main tour next year.
Famous names on the current tour trying to make a comeback to the big time include former world Number Two Tony Knowles, from Bolton.
