A THIEF who broke into the presbytery of Corpus Christi church in Rainford, managed to gain entry to the living quarters of 82-year-old Father McKenna and stole £30.
The clergyman was confronted by the thief, but there were no threats of violence and no weapon was seen.
The intruder was white, mid-20s, about 5ft 10 in tall with short hair. He was wearing a waist-length jacket, dark woollen gloves and woollen hat.
