I would like to answer Jane Brown's pessimistic letter about Labour's welfare to work proposals. Britain has no hope as a low wage economy and if it remains so it will effect industry and business.
Labour will sign the European Social Chapter which will be introduced sensibly and flexibly to ensure a statutory minimum wage and a workforce which run fairly.
