AS a resident taxpayer and voter of Blackburn, I ask its councillors to stop harassing and persecuting shopkeepers who use A-boards or pavement displays.
This, they are doing in my name, but I, and I think many other residents of Blackburn, want an end to it.
I have purchased quality goods at reasonable prices from these people and I don't wish to see them hurt.
Let the shopkeepers display their goods and notices.
