FINAL preparations are under way for a major business exhibition aimed at giving East Lancashire firms a boost.
The Chamber of Commerce will stage the 1998 Business Day on March 10 at The Dunkenhalgh Hotel, Clayton-le-Moors.
As well as the exhibition, the day will include a series of free seminars and a 'Meet the Buyer' forum.
"From our previous exhibitions we have found the standard and calibre of the stands to be first class," said Kathryn Czaja, commercial director
"Companies seem to use this type of event to communicate their corporate identities very positively and also find it an excellent way to network with other like-minded people."
Seminars covering subjects such as employment law and the Millennium issue are being held during the afternoon.
And the 'Meet the Buyer' event will give companies the chance to have a face-to-face with purchasers from major companies.
More than 30 buyers from regional and national companies will attend, looking for a variety of products and services.
