A BOGUS policeman met his match when he tried to get into a Blackburn pensioner's home.
David Dickinson, 82, saw a man looking in through his window who said he was from the police, but when Mr Dickinson, a former policeman himself, asked for identification, the man walked away and made off in a cream-coloured car.
