ALL 190 in Year Eight at Ivy Bank High School, Burnley, have been keeping up with current events through our Story Search reading scheme. Head of English Mrs Sylvia Ware ordered the material from us for the third consecutive year and is delighted with the interest shown by pupils and their progress in literacy.

Each participating pupil received a Story Search booklet with spaces to complete 46 newspaper reading tasks, a daily delivery of our newspaper for three weeks, a set of free gifts as reading incentives and a certificate of completion.

The scheme is suitable for pupils aged from about eight to 14 years and is available only through our NIE scheme.

THE following students have been awarded a certificate on completion of our Story Search reading scheme: Ivy Bank High School, Burnley, Year Eight - Daniel Airey, Gary Wolstenholme, Kimberley Jackson, Clare Campbell, Anthony McLoughlin, Laura Childs, Darren Ingham, Robert Smith, Lucy McFarlane, Rachael Shaw, Lisa Harrison, Elizabeth Pooley, Andrew Whitehead, Lisa Bailey and Rachel Speechley.

Well done all of them.
