WORKERS battled to avert a crisis after vital equipment and tools were stolen, threatening a £25,000 export order.
The burglary at the Great Harwood engineering works of NPK Die Systems Ltd, brought all computer aided design and laser cutting to a halt.
Workers were frantically trying to replace the stolen hand tools as they raced against time to complete an order for a Czech client.
