A CLUB for people who are dotty about Dr Who and the Daleks wants to hear from other fans of the popular TV series.

Time Lords Anonymous - Blackburn and Darwen Dr Who Club - meets monthly to discuss the series, swap ideas and organise outings.

There are four regulars and five other fans who occasionally drop in. They collect memorabilia, and activities are publicised in a free monthly newsletter.

Secretary Graham Groom said: "We've been going for two years now. Recently we organised a trip to conference in Manchester and got to meet some of the former doctors."

Anybody interested can go along to meetings at 1pm on the first Sunday of the month in The Pitcher Bar, formerly The Brewers, Blackburn. For further details call Graham Groom on 01254 706021. Copies of the newsletter, Popplewick Papers, are kept in Darwen Library's reference section.
