SAM Spence (Letters, April 20) has yet another bee in his bonnet - this time, about the 'Sunday-only' bus service on Good Fridays.
Is Mr Spence aware that Good Friday is regarded as the most sacred day of the Christian calendar which commemorates the crucifixion of Jesus?
If so, would he not agree that the right of those who wish to worship on such a day (bus drivers and shop workers included) should be put before the profit margins of traders?
Many of them already maximise their profits by opening seven days a week anyway, giving people ample opportunity to shop on any normal day of the year.
