DON Brennan is back from the dead and working at the Lancashire Evening Telegraph - well at least the actor who played the Coronation Street character is!
Geoff Hinsliff was one of the stars who took over the Darwen officeThe office was transformed into the Ackersley Echo with everything bearing the new name, even down to the front page of the paper and Gold Card promotion posters.
He said: "I really enjoy working in East Lancashire. We can be a nuisance and cause a lot of disruption but the people are far more tolerant here than in other parts of the country." Filming is taking place at a variety of locations around the East Lancashire area for the new BBC series which is due to be screened later this year.
