POLICE are hunting a gang of teenagers who terrorised a frail pensioner before making off with her purse in broad daylight.
The 75-year-old victim, who cannot walk without the aid of a stick, was making her way home from a shopping trip at about 12.30pm on Friday, April 24, when she was surrounded by two or three youths in Carr Street, Dentons Green.
And although the pensioner bravely tried to resist, the youths - aged between 15 and 18 years of age - snatched her purse containing about £12 in cash and made their escape.
