A CARING class of students at Carmel College will be getting their gladrags on for a good cause next month when they hold a charity Fashion Show in aid of the Luke Bryan Appeal Fund.

The students, who are all on the GNVQ Advanced Leisure and Tourism course, have organised the event themselves and have contacted local shops in St Helens and Prescot who will be showing their own collections.

The show will be held at the Stakis Hotel in Chalon Way on Monday, May 11 and shops taking part include Sports Division, Miss Selfridge, The Body Shop and McKays. The students have also enlisted staff from the Clarins counter at Tyrers who will be doing makeovers and Hairdressing students from St Helens College to give people a complete new look.

The show starts at 7.30pm and all the money raised will be donated to the Luke Bryan Fund to help the brave 18 year old promising rugby player from Haydock whose playing days tragically ended when a freak tackle left him paralysed from the neck down.

Tickets cost £3.50 and are available by calling Carmel College on St Helens 22876 ext. 247.
