SO council tenants in Burnley are going to get a 'friend' to give them advice about the 'sell-off' of their homes (LET, April 28).
What of the estates which are adopting the right to manage themselves? Groups on these estates have gone through long and costly training and now have the expertise to efficiently manage their estates.
So is this yet more money wasted by Burnley Council, or will these groups, too, be allocated a 'friend' to explain why all their efforts may be wasted?
