DAVID Moyes was delighted to get the point which at last guaranteed safety for North End.

On the match Moyes said: "We were under pressure and they hit the woodwork, but we had as many chances as them and we could have won."

He said he was pleased with the way players had responded to his leadership, he said: "They were always good players who knew they could get out of trouble. They worked hard for me and the club, and I couldn't have asked for more. When I took over, I saw it was my job to keep PNE up. We have done that and I'm very pleased."

He praised the supporters, saying: "They have been great. They have stuck with us, they encouraged the players and today they were right behind us."

On the championship decider which brings Bristol City to Deepdale for the final match of the season, he said: "It should be a great day, I'm looking forward to it."
