PART of the St Helens Linkway was blocked off for more than two hours following a collision between a bus and a wagon.
The accident happened at about 6.50am on Tuesday, May 5, near Safeway supermarket and although the damage to the wagon was minor, a haulage team had to tow the bus away.
There were no passengers on the bus and no one was injured but the road, which links drivers to the M62 was closed until 9.10am.
