ACCRINGTON Stanley boss Billy Rodaway has swooped to make his first signings since taking up the managerial hotseat at the Crown Ground.
The Reds' boss has raided Welsh League side Caernarfon Town to secure the services of ex-Altrincham and Runcorn pair Neil Doherty and Peter Byrne.
Doherty is an experienced striker who also had a spell in the Unibond League last season with Winsford United while Liverpool-based Byrne is a defender.
Further signings are expected in the coming weeks as Stanley prepare for an assault on the Unibond Premier Division title next season.
