MAY we thank the wonderful people of Blackburn and Darwen who have donated so generously to the Luke Hill Florida Appeal?
The events such as the Bank Holiday pub crawl around Ewood, Mill Hill, Griffin and Montague Street and the Les Cross hair cut at The Prince of Wales Hotel, together with donations from RHP Bearings and anonymous people, have brought the total raised to date to £3,000 - a fantastic sum towards the projected target of £10,000.
Special thanks go to the committee members and all friends who attended the Starnite at St Paul's Working Men's Club for making it such a huge success.
And thank you to the Lancashire Evening Telegraph and Citizen for help in publicising our charity.
