ON behalf of Carers National Association I would like to congratulate the Lancashire Evening Telegraph on the excellent feature article, carried in the newspaper on Saturday, June 13.
The article, written by Amy Binns, was extremely well researched giving an insight into the role of a carer as well as publicising carers' experiences of the NHS.
The article has not only raised awareness of carers' issues, but will have played a crucial role in reaching out to the thousands of carers who do not recognise themselves as such - the 'hidden carers.'
