THE search is on to solve the mystery of Bongs Toffee.

Ex-pats now living in the Isle of Man want to know what happened to the once popular "home-made" sweets.

Writing on their behalf, Mrs M Parkinson, asks if anyone can help with the history of the toffee, or the recipe and equipment, and promises all letters will be replied to.

Anyone who can help can write to her at Highcroft, 161, Royal Avenue, Onchan, Isle of Man, IM3 1LG.
