THE Rev Jim Rushton, who is currently vicar of All Saints, Preston, has been appointed Rural Dean of Preston. He has worked for 30 years within the Blackburn diocese.
"I wasn't expecting this but hopefully I will be able to be a good friends to all the clergy in the deanery and somebody they could feel relaxed with," he said.
