THE sky's the limit for Blackpool girl Suzy Peters who has followed in her parents' footsteps and taken the London music industry by storm.

Under her stage name of Soozy Q, the 23-year-old is making a big noise in the music scene with a string of successes.

Already she has sung backing vocals for Robbie Williams and Lulu along with her own live PA performances in top clubs such as London's famous Ministry of Sound.

Song writing is another talent. Soozy has a catalogue of more than 50 self-penned lyrics, and her latest release, We Don't Have To Take Our Clothes Off, has just made it on to Radio Wave's play list.

A former student of Whittakers dance and drama centre in Blackpool, she has always wanted to sing and was inspired by parents Mike and Carol who have both had their share of fame.

Mike was a member of hit band Lieutenant Pigeon which reached No 1 with Mouldy Old Dough, while Carol - or Carly Michaels as she is known in the business - has appeared on Stars In Your Eyes as Brenda Lee.

The proud parents, who live near Stanley Park, Blackpool, don't see much of Soozy these days.

Mike explained: "She has a very busy life in London. But she is happy doing what she does best and manages to visit us occasionally. We're extremely proud of her."

Currently living in Catford, London, Soozy attended the Sylvia Young stage school in London from the age of 13 to 17, mixing with such stars as Baby Spice and Danni Behr.

She will be back on home soil with an appearance at Blackpool's Palace Nightclub on July 10.
