LOCAL lads are this week wrestling the world.
Leigh Olympic Wrestling Club's dynamic duo Paul Raines and Mark Orrell are in the Great Britain squad for the 13th World Cadet Championships.
Attracting more than 300 competitors from 45 countries, they are being staged from today until Sunday at Manchester's Nynex Arena.
Paul and Mark have won a succession of tournaments, including the British Championships in May.
And they will have home support for the worlds with Britain coached by Leigh's Commonwealth Games silver medallist John Melling.
The Team Trophy is being sponsored by the Leigh club in memory of former GB and Leigh coach Len West.
