A MAN had his wallet snatched by an opportunist thief as he was about to enter a post office.
The 20-year-old victim was on his way to the sub-post office in Ashtons Green Drive, Parr, when the thief ran up and grabbed the wallet, containing about £120 in cash, from his hand and ran off in the direction of the Horsehoe pub.
The incident took place at about 9.30am on Monday, June 29. The thief was described as being in his 20s, about 5ft 10ins tall with a medium build and short dark hair.
