A BOOMING office furniture company was set to build a £1.8 million plant at Altham, creating a "significant number" of jobs.
The venture was a major expansion by Todmorden-based Alan Cooper, which has a smaller factory making office screening panels at Altham.
The company was set to be the first to build a factory at the new Altham Business Park.
