A DOCTOR facing two stalking charges has been refused bail by magistrates.
Dr Michael Dale, aged 44, of West Beach, Lytham, has been remanded in custody for seven days by Preston magistrates.
The anaesthetist with the Preston Acute Hospital Trust is accused of pursuing a course of conduct between May 8 and August 9 that amounted to the harassment of Chantel Airey.
He also faces a similar charge, relating to her boyfriend Dr Andrew Weatherburn, between June 14 and August 9.
During the forty minutes hearing at Preston Magistrates Court solicitor Mr Simon Couple made an application for bail. Dr Dale was refused bail and is due to re-appear in court on September 2.
