I AM writing to thank everyone who donated money for Josh Newsham, whose story was so generously covered in the Citizen.
We would like to express our thanks to the South Ribble Lions for supplying the donation envelopes.
We were kindly assisted by colleagues Gus Greig and Ian and Janet Thornton, who gave out envelopes to customers.
The response has been terrific, as we collected £342. In addition South Ribble Lions donated money to put the grand total up to £500.
This money will now go to helping Josh, who suffers from cerebral palsy, to be treated by the world's best doctors at the Peto Institute in Hungary.
We would also like to thank the Preston Citizen for highlighting our efforts.
