LANCASTER City are caught up in a row with Scottish club Gretna over their two want away players Mark Dobie and Lee Marshall.

City want £1,000 for last season's top scorer Dobie but Gretna are refusing to pay. Now City won't release Marshall to the scots outfit until the situation is sorted out.

City manager Alan Tinsley explained: "There's no confusion over Dobie's contract as far as we're concerned. He said he needed more money so we gave him the forms to help him and now he wants to leave us for nothing. Lee Marshall has been unlucky to be caught up in all this."
