LIVERPOOL St Helens face attractive opposition in London Welsh as they stage their sponsors day at Moss Lane this Saturday.

The action starts at 2.30, but the game will be divided into four quarters of 20 minutes.

The Exiles boast a strong squad that includes former Rugby League stars Rowland Phillips and Andy Currier, plus former Bath player Gary French, son of TV and radio commentator, Ray.

They are coached by former Saints player Clive Griffiths.

The day aims to promote the club in the community and sponsors, old and new, are more than welcome.

Post-match entertainment is provided by a local jazz band.

Meanwhile, LSH are running a Colts under 18s team this season, with their first training session taking place at 6.30 next Tuesday, September 1.
