LEIGH area businesses have an exclusive chance to quiz former Chancellor Kenneth Clarke about what a single European currency will mean to them.
Mr Clarke is the guest speaker at this year's North West Business Lecture at Wigan Investment Centre, the third annual lecture hosted by Wigan Borough Partnership and sponsored by Wigan based Patak (Spices) Ltd.
The former Chancellor will be in Wigan on November 9 and will take questions from the audience after a 45 minute lecture on the Euro.
Patak managing director, David Patak, said: "This is a real coup for the region; it's not every day you get the chance to quiz the man who, not so long ago, was in the financial hot seat at no 11."
The lecture starts at 4.45pm and will be followed by a buffet supplied by Patak. Tickets at £60 are available from Susan Barnes on 01942 725994.
