A HALTON cyclist had to be taken to hospital after a sheep knocked him off his bike this week. The 67-year-old bike enthusiast was cycling at speed near Hornby when the sheep appeared and knocked him to the ground. Ambulancemen had to rush the pensioner, who was in great pain, to hospital where it appeared he had a fracture to his hip joint.
