A YOUNG cyclist who left his bike in a relative's front garden couldn't believe his eyes when he left to make his way home.

For his bike had been stolen and replaced with another one.

And when he contacted the police it was discovered the bike that had been left had also been stolen.

The young cyclist's bike was stolen between 5pm and 6.30pm on Wednesday, August 19, from a garden in Queens Drive, Newton-le-Willows, and it was a blue Universal mountain bike with 10 gears, valued at £100.

The bike left in its place was a purple Magna 10 speed mountain bike.
