Superstar! Tina Yu, a Bury CE High pupil, was one of the top performers in yesterday's GCSE exams - she gained 11 straight A* grades!
Youngsters across the borough were yesterday finding out how they had done in this summer's GCSE exams, and there was the usual mix of joy and pain.
But Tina (16) of Altham Close, Bury, was absolutely jumping for joy when she got her remarkable results.
Mr Philip Grady, head at Bury CE, said: "She was absoutely delighted - in fact she was a bit overwhelmed!
"Her results are truly remarkable - we think they are among the best in the country."
