DO you wanna be a record breaker? The chance is there for the taking as long as you DON'T keep your hair on!
The Wishing Well Appeal is organising an attempt at the world record for the biggest number of people having their heads shaved in one hour. The event will be held at Bury Football Club on Sunday, October 18, with special guest Gordon Banks in attendance, as well as several TV companies.
Those wishing to participate should phone the charity for sponsor forms on (0161) 794 6179. The deadline for entries is Monday, October 12, and all proceeds will help send 100 terminally ill children to Lapland for Christmas.
