CORONATION Street actress Vicky Entwistle may be about to set up home in the picturesque Ribble Valley.

But the Clitheroe estate agent said to be behind a possible property deal and the soap star's family was today keeping tight-lipped about the matter.

Vicky, a former pupil of Rhyddings High School in Oswaldtwistle, plays loudmouth neighbour-from-hell Janice Battersby in the top soap.

Rumours were rife that she had bought the Waddington home of former Blackburn Rovers ace Graeme Le Saux.

But now she has been spotted by residents in Pendleton viewing a house in the village's main street.

Vicky's parents run M&M News in Whalley Road, Clayton-le-Moors, where a spokesman today said the actress had been looking at numerous houses in the area. "Vicky has viewed a property in the Ribble Valley but nothing has been confirmed as yet," she said.

Steve Hatton, of Ribble Valley Estates in King Street, Clitheroe, agents for the property, refused to comment on the matter.

"We get all sorts of people looking around our properties, including TV personalities, but I have nothing to say other than that," he said.

The Ribble Valley has proved popular among TV personalities and soccer stars as a place to live, including comedian Phil Cool and several Blackburn Rovers players.
