POLICE are concerned about a missing 14-year-old girl believed to be in the Accrington area.
Gillian Cooney may have a small, black puppy with her from which she is inseparable.
She went missing from a care home in Lancaster 10 days ago.
Gillian has family and friends living locally and police have received a number of anonymous phone calls saying she is living in the Accrington area moving from address to address.
She is white, 5ft 4in tall, slim, has short light brown hair, a fair complexion and a nose stud.
Sergeant Darren Cookson, of Accrington police, said: "Because of her age we are concerned for her welfare and would ask her to get in touch."
