BOSSES from across the world jetted in for the offical opening of a £2.5 million factory.
Sir David Trippier was guest of honour as Swedish-owned Camfil opened the doors of its purpose built headquarters in Haslingden.
The new site on Knowsley Parkway is expected to be fully operational next month when the 140-strong workforce at the old Charles Lane site move.
The relocation is expected to create news jobs through increased production capacity.
"We are movuing from the 19th century to the 21st century," said managing director Brian Taylor.
"Our new headquarters has all the latest technology and the comforts of a modern factory."
