A BOMB blast ripped through part of Blackburn College and sparked a security alert hours before Remembrance Day parades.
Police sealed off the area after the blast which shattered windows in the two-storey engineering block. They believed the home-made bomb, a pipe packed with explosives, nuts and bolts, was probably an experiment that went wrong.
