I READ with interest the courageous, determined efforts by Adrian Shurmer, of Great Harwood, to get rid of Lego-land obstacle course roads in Blackburn and, indeed, nationally.

I believe Hyndburn council engineer, Mr David Law, who is responsible for this catalogue of destruction and the squandering of taxpayers' money, should resign.

This is not only a locus standi problem, but a national problem on which I am presently engaged with the backing of a full legal team of solicitors and counsel preparing an ex-parte application for leave to apply for a judicial review of decisions of various local councils' refusals to remove these dangerous obstructions from our roads of today.

No-one appears to be addressing this huge problem and the various highways departments have been causing havoc in the absence of any real opposition.

Be assured, we will move mountains.
