One of Bedlington Terriers' FA Cup heroes has not gone unnoticed by Burnley. John Milner scored twice to take his total for the season to 26 as the Northern League club beat Colchester United 4-1 on Saturday. Milner has been monitored by the Clarets' scouting network, although manager Stan Ternent stressed the difference between spotting a player and making a move to buy him. Milner is also reported to have attracted the interest of Stoke City and Oxford United and has the chance to further enhance his reputation at Scunthorpe United in the second round.
