PRINCE Charles planned to gallop to the rescue on the Mustard Seed House community centre on Blackburn's Roman Road estate.
He heard about the estate through his presidency of Business in the Community, and hoped to raise more than £20,000 by playing in a charity polo match to guarantee funding for the centre for two years.
