HOW I agree with Michelle Pickering (Letters, January 13) concerning true dog lovers who 'scoop the poop.'
Every week, I have to swill and scrub a large area of pavement outside our gable-end home because of dog faeces left there.
Just yards away is a grassed area where inconsiderate owners, too lazy to clean up after their pets, could take them to defecate as no children play there.
I have resorted to walking in the roads where we live in order to avoid dog excrement.
Luckily our area has a one-way system for traffic.
