AT last, Mohammed comes to the mountain.
I refer, of course, to Councillor Mohammed Khan's reply (Letters, January 26) to your editorial and article on Blackburn with Darwen Council's housing policy (LET, January 19), it is a great pity and a sad reflection on this councillor that he did not see fit to reply to my letters in your pages, which were written along quite similar lines.
Nonetheless, it is gratifying that the Lancashire Evening Telegraph can always prompt a reply - when, otherwise, this particular Mohammed might avoid going anywhere near the mountain of local concern.
P NEWTON (Mr), Ashworth Close, Blackburn.
