SO Glenn Hoddle has spoken. Why do one and another of these religious bigots come forward to sit in judgment on their fellow citizens?
He tells us that disabled people are the cause of their own misfortune by having sinned in a former life and are now paying for it. Could anything be more wrong or so cruel in concept!
This is a childish and out-of-date idea from superstitious medieval days and has no place in modern thinking or Christian belief. It is part of Hindu philosophy or karma from way back.
As a consequence of the distress he has caused these people, I suggest that he be sacked forthwith and told that as he believes in such rubbish, the sacking is punishment for the sin of denigrating the disabled, which he has been shown to have committed in this, his present life.
