POLICE are appealing for information about three 'skinheads' who assaulted a youth in Thursby Road, Burnley.

The 16-year-old student was at a bus shelter opposite Queen Victoria Nursing Home at about 2pm on Saturday, January 23, when a white L-registered Ford Mondeo pulled up alongside him.

The three occupants got out and started to punch and kick him. Another car pulled up with the horn sounding and the attackers got back into the Mondeo and drove off.

One was white, 6ft tall, of medium build, with a scar over the left eye, clean shaven, and two earrings in his left ear. He was wearing a white long-sleeved Adidas sweater, blue jeans and white trainers.

A second attacker was of Asian appearance, 19-20 years, 5ft 7ins tall and slim. He was wearing an earring in his left ear, and had a moustache and goatee beard. He was wearing a white Fila jacket with red vertical stripes to the front, blue jumper, dark blue jeans and black shoes.

The third man was also of Asian appearance, 20-21 years, 5ft 9ins tall, of medium build, clean shaven and with several spots under his left eye.
